This article will exist as a monument to and showcase of my old minecraft worlds. Many of them have been lost to time, so I am archiving screenshots here for my own sentimentality. The worlds are listed in order of most recent to oldest.

The Friendlies: Date: 2025-2026

After sort of abandoning my previous friend group (oops drama), I hosted a minecraft server for this discord that I joined. "The Friendlies" was the name of the Discord server and I had quite a few players that all lived in one central area.

After the summer of 2025, the discord server kind of died and people lost interest(as they do), this time including me. I didn't play on the server at all for the entire schoolyear. However, once the summer of 2026 hit I remembered this server's existence and started playing again (alone this time). The above screenshot depicts the world in early summer 2026, after I'd made some modifications but some of the older server members' builds were still intact.

I ended up modifying 2 of the old server members' builds quite a bit (the weird pink lump and the unfinished oak and cobble house).I hope they don't mind too much, but it was basically just my singleplayer world at that point.

A map of the area, changing over time. This was the first base I've had where I felt like it was approaching a good amount of being-filled-out.

The bridge was kind of funky but I adored the way it turned out. The middle image depicts an old server member's house that I kept the shape of the foundations but completely color swapped it.

Some other locations.

Chuckleballs SMP 2: Date: 2023

I have the world files for this one! I think the server owner wanted it to be more anarchy focused but I (and the friend I shared the base with) were less interested. Yet again, everyone else stopped playing way before I did. I'm still really proud of my base here though (and the shaders don't hurt)!

The area definitely could have been more filled out though. I had a lot of plans for this base that were left unfulfilled.

Chuckleballs SMP 1: Date: 2022

Hosted by a different friend, but from the same friend group. Yet again, I was the one who played the most on this one.

This time around I kept my base's style MUCH more consistent, sticking to a basic palette of oak, spruce, cobblestone, and stone bricks. Generic, but it looked wayy more cohesive than what I had done before.

Hypixel SMP: Date: 2021

This one was owned by some guy I barely knew and I didn't play on it that much because I was kind of burnt out on Minecraft, especially as LoopCraft came to an... unfortunate end.

This is one of the few SMPs where I shared my base area with other server members. Not that I built much on here.

LoopCraft: Date: 2021

This was my attempt to recapture the magic of the old Don't Mine At Night (1). I was actually not the sole player for most of it! My friend played on it a decent amount and I'm honestly a way bigger fan of his base than my own.

  My friend's base.--------------------------------------------------------------

My base, plus a cursed santa. I don't have a screenshot of the central tower after it's creation, this is from while it was being created. It wasn't my favorite build, but it was ambitious (and, yet again, unfinished). This is where I believe I started the tradition of digging my main base part into the side of a hill (not depicted).

Don't Mine At Night 2: Date:summer 2021

The successor to Don't Mine At Night, this one saw significantly less playtime from other people. I definitely played on it the most, with the server owner as the only other one who occasionally hopped on. I remember getting pretty emotionally attached to this one and I had a lot of builds on it. Sadly, I do not have these world files and also lost all screenshots I may have had of it. My base on this world was a very chaotic mix of building styles.

Don't Mine At Night 1: Date: fall 2020-spring 2021

This was the first minecraft survival server I was on that wasn't with my family. Most of my screenshots of it include other players, which I will refrain from putting here for their privacy for now. I do still have the world file for this one so I may add screenshots later.

Family Server: Date: pre 2020

I actually have a pretty good number of screenshots from this time saved. I'm not entirely sure when this server was (I believe it was the last serious Minecraft server I had with my dad and siblings). This might have been the first server where we beat the Ender Dragon? I remember having elytra on it for sure.

main base family server

This was the main area of our server, which was pretty messy and compact. My dad made a couple of redstone contraptions.

farmhouse farmhouse 2 farmhouse 3

These 3 are all from when I defected from my family's main area to have my own building centered area. This was my first attempt at building larger (ish) structures. It has its charm but I think I got bored part of the way through and never completed the big house.
