Syl - wait, this one is the main character?

  A spunky 18 year old with a rebellious streak. She attends a prestigious university (mainly for their sports team) and spends her days avoiding her homework and the “friends” her overprotective mother set up for her.
  However, her life plan is thrown into turmoil when she makes friends with an older botany student running an illegal drug operation, leading her farther down into the conspiracy that might upend their world.

Hal - Just a friendly guy!

  His dreams of living a normal, respectable life have disappeared into the misty unknown of the past. His only companion, Vienne, has descended further into her seemingly incurable condition, only worsened by their life on the run. Nothing else matters; he would do anything to save her.

Vienne - Why am I still here? Just to suffer?

Lani - spooky scary mob boss

A childhood friend of Hal & Vienne's. As an adult, she has long since traded her boundless optimism for the cruelty of reality.

Amora - “quirkchungus child character”

Initially works for Lani but ends up tagging along with the gang. As far as Syl is concerned, he's mainly there to be a little prick and ruin their plans.
